Women's Ministry
The women at Spindale United Methodist Church have been actively serving the community since 1924. They participate in several fundraisers throughout the year donating most of the proceeds to local missions in our county. They also gather for times of fellowship and inspiration. Scholarships
Thanks to a generous donation from the Mitchel family and the Grose family, Spindale United Methodist Church offers two scholarships to active church members to help offset tuition costs. These scholarships are offered yearly. To apply or find out more about the eligibility requirements, click the link below.

Preschool
We are a preschool, not a play school, with a focus on academics. All classes work on 3 or 4 letters of the alphabet, a color, a shape and a bible verse each month. All classes do the pledge of allegiance, learn the days of the week and the months of the year. Classes meet Mon, Wed, and Fri from 9 - noon. There is also an early birds class from 8:30a - 9 and a lunch bunch from 12 to 1 pm. The classes are for children 2 - 4 years old.

We also have several "special days" during the year including Grandparents day, Father's Day and Mother's Day. If you have a preschool age child who is special in your life, I guarantee that they will benefit from our program. SUMC preschool, where learning is fun!
